THU 7TH DEC 2006: REUBEN TICKETS
Hallo everyone. If you're having trouble getting tickets for the February shows, please remember this: if the supplier you're trying to buy them from has run out, THIS DOES NOT MEAN THE SHOW HAS SOLD OUT. It just means that that particular supplier has sold all the tickets they had. Give somewhere else a go for yer tickets and you'll probably get lucky.

Until you hear from us or the venue themselves that the show is sold out, it's probably not sold out, even though Stargreen or wherever might be. Keep on trucking!

WED 6TH DEC 2006: WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS STAYS IN VEGAS
On March the 5th 2007 Reuben will release their first ever DVD.

"What Happens In Vegas Stays In Vegas" is an hour-long documentary film that follows the band on tour, in the studio and at work for three months, trying to portray what it's like to be in an underground british rock band in this day and age.

Also included on the DVD will be a full recording of the band's Mean Fiddler show from earlier in the year, and a few cheeky extras.

The DVD will be available to buy a couple of weeks before its official release date at all of the shows on the February tour, tickets for which go on sale today. Check out the live page for more info on the tour dates, and more info on the DVD will be forthcoming as soon as it's been confirmed.

Meanwhile, the album is going very well, and we're onto the last stages of tracking, with just vocals and a few overdubs to do. You can catch our daily video diary of the studio at www.myspace.com/wordsfromreuben

Exciting!

TUE 31ST OCT 2006: PRINT IS DEAD
In August 2005, Jamie and Guy drove up to Newcastle, to hook up with the Yourcodenameis:Milo boys. We were the first of many to collaborate with ycni:milo for the Print Is Dead sessions. The idea was to write, rehearse, and record a track from scratch in one day. We called our band, "The Velvet Junior Terror Squad", and we wrote a song called "Captain Of Lies". The album features many artists such as Maximo Park, Tom Vek, Futureheads, and so on, and sounds excellent. It's released next monday (November 6th 2006), but for now you can hear most of it here www.printisdead.co.uk

Have fun, Be Dangerous.

THU 26TH OCT 2006:
Well, it's very sad, but it had to happen. We've come to the end of our tour with the Talent, who showed us all the delights of european countries, massive stadiums and in-house catering. They were like our rock and roll big brothers and we'll miss them very much. There'll probly be lots of photos up here there and everywhere at some point but we thought we'd whack up this cartoon that Jim did of everyone on the tour

And also this recreation of the photo that the Talent organised in their dressing room in Southampton. Brilliant!

WED 4TH OCT 2006: ONE OFF SHOW!
Yo all,

The European tour with Billy Talent is going very well indeed, and we are having an absolute blast with these guys.

After this tour, we will be playing a one off show in Plymouth, UK, at the Viaduct / White Rabbit, on October 20th. Hope to see some of you guys there!

Rocking.

FRI 22ND SEP 2006: REUEBN CONQUER EUROPE AND HOLLYWOOD
Well, we're off to Europe now, actually on the ferry as we speak. It's pretty exciting and pretty dark. We got Jim's housemate Edley selling the t shirts, the very german Kraus on guitars, Dive Dive Taz on the wheels, and Dan Kav from The Rooms rehearsal rooms helping him out so he can sleep sometimes.

Can't wait to make it to the mainland for some cold cuts and schnitzel. But enough of this small time shizzle!

As all of you already know, we're on the Van Wilder 2 soundtrack. See, what happens with this stuff is that we sort it out, and then wait until it's all confimed before we say anything, in case for some reason it falls through and we look like idiots. Then everyone else finds out before us, and we hear about it through them, we put it on our website about a week later, and end up looking like idiots anyway. But it's pretty cool! See y'all at the premier!

THU 31ST AUG 2006: ENGERICA
It might be a bit late, but we didn't want to let it pass without saying how utterly trousers it is that Engerica are splitting up. We think it's safe to say that they were the band we felt closest to, both musically and personally, over our years of touring and playing shows, and we're going to miss having the opportunity to share the stage with them.

They came with us on our longest tour back when we were struggling to finish our first album, and played with us infront of literally tens of people a night, and then they came again with us recently for a set of slightly better attended shows. On both tours, and whenever we played any one-offs with them, we were always shitting ourselves because we knew we had to follow their amazing show. (We were also usually slightly late on if they'd played Sylvia last, which was pretty much every night.)

A couple of months ago we went to see them at The Water Rats in Kings Cross, a really small show, and although the hardcores (you know who you are) were there the crowd wasn't even big enough to fill the venue. We were all totally bewildered as to why a band this incredible, with this much charisma, and with songs this good weren't advertising a new flavour of coke or some shit.

Well, who knows. Sometimes it just ain't work. It's a tough bidniss, and we're glad that if they have to bow out, they can at least leave us with that incredible album that we can listen to again and again, and we hope that they'll still come and hang out at our shows and in the studio and at some, if not all, the places they've been for us over the past six years.

We'd like to thank Dave, Mike and Neil for making us a better band, and for being our buddies. Don't stop!
